Who we are
Full of Jacobean charm the Radnorshire Arms is proud to re-open under new ownership to provide a cosy meeting point in the heart of Presteigne.
The neighbourhood feel of the Radnorshire Arms allows the grandeur of the 16th century building to have an easy going at-home atmosphere. The large timber framed bar and restaurant offers a menu full of heart pub classics whilst the guest rooms offer the perfect hideaway. We are also delighted to have revived the large beer garden for those long summer evenings.
We look forward to welcoming you. .

" We stayed here for a weekend away in September 2020. On arrival we were greeted at the front desk, after check in we were shown to our room. Which we found to be extremely large, clean, and well decorated with a brand new bathroom. We were also given a tour of the hotel by the friendly and helpful manager. We made use of the bar and restaurant and found both to be excellent value. The bar area and the hotel itself retain a lot of historical features. The bar itself was popular but not too loud, and could not be heard from our room at all. "- TripAdviser Reviews -
" Having reopened a few weeks before our visit after a 2 year closure it was remarkable how normal everything was, staff were courteous, kind and willing to go the extra mile. Food in the bar (and elsewhere) was excellent, as was the beer. Room very comfortable but lighting in the bathroom could be much improved. Breakfast was continental style due to the present situation but quite acceptable.”- Booking.com Reviews -
" Bedroom was excellent size, well decorated and clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent quality and well priced. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. "- Booking.com Reviews -
